We're creating online resources for beekeepers in Hawaii!

The Hawaii Master Beekeeper Program is an opportunity for participants to learn about bees and beekeeping, develop a beekeeping community network, test accumulated knowledge and certify progress through the journey to mastery.

Are you just getting started or have you been beekeeping for years? Either way, you might consider joining the effort to build a Hawai`i Master Beekeeper Program (MBP) in our Aloha state. 

In an effort to make this a sustainable program, created by and sup-ported by local beekeepers, participation is $120/year, or $15/month, which will provide for participants:

•  Online learning modules (short articles, videos, and other presentations about all aspects of bees and beekeeping)
• Monthly local workshops at alternating venues for experiential bee-keeping opportunities (honey ex-traction, equipment building, queen rearing, mead making, pollination field trips, and more)
• Written and practical examination prep, testing, and certification to assess and celebrate your gain
  in beekeeping knowledge
• Membership in a community of beekeepers here in Hawai`i that can network and come together to share ideas, learn, and grow together.
